The R178 Bailieborough Road in Virginia Town will be closed between its junction with the N3 and the entrance to Virginia Business Park and the new Virginia Fire Station from 7pm to 5am daily from Monday, 4 September to Saturday, 8 September 2023 for road resurfacing works. There will be no through road access from the N3 to Virginia Business Park and vice versa (Emergencies will be accommodated).

Diversion routes will be set up to Bailieborough from the N3 Via the L3007 & L3550 via Kilinkere & via the R194 to L7040 to L3008 Via Crossreagh.
Diversion routes will be to Virginia from Bailieborough at Lisnahederna cross Via the L3008, L7040 to the R194 Via Crossreagh.
